The Ernakulam Psychiatric Society held its December 2025 monthly meeting at The Renai Cochin on 18 December 2025.
Dr. M. Chandrasekharan Nair, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nair's Hospital spoke on junk DNA and its role in the etiology of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders.
The session was chaired by Dr. Kuruvilla Thomas, Consultant Psychiatrist, Kusumagiri Mental Health Centre, Kochi.
