During the meeting on 25 August 2023, Dr. Philip John, the chairperson introduced the speaker Dr. Malay Dave from Mumbai. Dr. Malay Dave spoke about depression and its etiology, the various areas for molecules targeting depression including novel target areas, the various therapeutic options available while also mentioning the experimental options in the pipeline. He also spoke about the specific utility of Vortioxetine in Depression and shared his clinical experience regarding the same.
