The Ernakulam Psychiatric Society held its May 2026 monthly meeting at Avenue Regent, Kochi on 22 May 2026.
A case report was presented by Dr. Raghunandan Ramanathan, Junior Resident (PGY2) and chaired by Dr Lakshmi KP, Associate Professor from the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioural Medicine, Amrita Institute of Medical Science and Research Institute, Kochi.
Dr. T. C. Vishnu, Organising Secretary of SIPSCON 2026 provided updates on the upcoming conference and the planned site visit from IPS KSB on June 21st.
A talk on newer treatment algorithms in the management of bipolar depression was delivered by Dr. M. S. Reddy, Director, Asha Hospital, Hyderabad.
The session was chaired by Dr. M. Chandrasekharan Nair, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nair’s Hospital.
