The Ernakulam Psychiatric Society held its September 2023 monthly meeting at Hotel Avenue Regent, Kochi, on 29 September with over 31 psychiatrists in attendance. Dr. S. Shaji, Consultant Psychiatrist at Bethsada Hospital, Vengola, chaired the event and introduced Dr. R. Sathianathan, former Director of Institute of Mental Health, Chennai and currently Head of Department of Geriatric Care Clinic, Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, Chennai as the guest speaker. Dr. Sathianathan, a renowned figure in psychiatry, discussed dementia and its management. The meeting fostered active discussions among attendees, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and professional growth in the field.
