The Ernakulam Psychiatric Society held its July 2026 monthly meeting at Avenue Regent, Kochi on 17 July 2026.
A case report was presented by Dr.Nasreen Mohamed, Psychiatry DNB Resident, Lourdes Hospital and chaired by Dr.Manu N.A , Consultant Psychiatrist, Lourdes hospital followed by discussionwith the members.
Dr. T. C. Vishnu, Organising Secretary of SIPSCON 2026 provided updates on the upcoming conference -registration, abstract submission, scientific program schedule, speakers, media award submissions, conducted UG quiz screening round & Abdul Rahiman Gold medal exam for HS, acceptance of invitation by Chief Guest – Hon. Justice Devan Ramachandran.
A talk focusing on nicotine replacement therapy was made by Dr. Geo George, Consultant Psychiatrist, Mindful Rejuvenation, Angamaly.
The session was chaired by Commodore (Dr.) M. J. John, Dean Emeritus, Medical Trust Institute of Medical Sciences.
