The Ernakulam Psychiatric Society held its June 2026 monthly meeting at Avenue Regent, Kochi on 19 June 2026
A case report was presented by Dr Linsha A V, Final year JR, Govt. Medical College Ernakulam and chaired by Dr Jaimon P M, Associate Professor, Dept. of Psychiatry, Gov. Medical College Ernakulam & Dr Sreedevi S, Consultant Psychiatrist, Sunrise Hospital followed by discussion with the members.
Dr. T. C. Vishnu, Organising Secretary of SIPSCON 2026 provided updates on the upcoming conference -registration, abstract submission, scientific program schedule, speakers, and the planned site visit from IPS KSB on June 21st, along with updates regarding the Unified Membership Scheme implemented by national IPS.
A talk focusing on Brexpiprazole in the management of Schizophrenia was made by Dr. Neeraj H, Consultant Psychiatrist, Apollo Adlux Hospitals and Restorative Clinic.
The session was chaired by Dr. S D Singh, Sr. Psychiatrist, Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission Hospital, Kochi.
